Rising Sun Jewelry Co. began with one simple idea: not all meaningful pieces should have to stay hidden away in a drawer, box, or frame.
Some keepsakes carry stories too special to only be displayed from a distance. I wanted to create jewelry that could preserve those stories in a personal, wearable way — pieces that could be carried, honored, and lived with.
I also understood that some history does not belong to me alone. When working with authenticated historical textiles and memorabilia materials, my goal has always been to help protect the legacy connected to them, treat each piece with respect, and thoughtfully share small preserved portions with fans and collectors who will treasure them.
That idea led to my first inclusion ring in 2024, and from there, Rising Sun Jewelry Co. was born.
Founded in Alabama by Kelsea Watson, Rising Sun Jewelry Co. creates heirloom-style jewelry featuring meaningful inclusions such as authenticated historical textiles, memorabilia materials, memorial inclusions, and personal keepsakes.
Today, my work includes:
